Spaghetti Bake
Posted by Heather on October 24, 2010
What’s a busy mom to do with a hungry family and nothing “pulled out” for dinner? Well, I don’t like to be in that situation, because it usually leads to eating out. And that drains the pocketbook FAST. But, let’s be realistic, shall we? It’s confession time: I am not perfect…
I’ll wait until the air pressure returns here.
Ok, now that you are over your initial shock, let me show you how I used up some leftovers the other day:
I took some leftover corn spaghetti, some leftover chicken, pasta sauce, and cheese:
And mixed the pasta, chicken, and sauce in a bowl together until well blended.
Poured into a 9×13 pan, top with LOTS of cheese:
And bake at 375 for about 20 minutes…and dinner’s ready!
Spaghetti Bake
2 C. leftover chopped chicken or turkey
2 C leftover cooked pasta (whatever you have on hand)
1-2 C Pasta sauce
2 C shredded cheese
Mix first 3 ingredients well, pour into a 9×13 pan, and top with cheese. Bake at 375 for 20 minutes until cheese is nice and melted and golden.
What’s your favorite “go to” meal?

It’s amazing how fast eating out can drain the pockets.
