Automatic Dish Soap for the dishwasher has two components that I don’t like: the trash and the chemicals in the average dish detergent. Even the ones that are “natural” are chock full of things I don’t want my family possibly ingesting…Like what’s in this detergent: And the stuff I would use is very budget straining. [...]

I buy my spices in bulk, since they are much cheaper that way. I also like never running out of favorites like cumin, cinnamon, and garlic powder. I used to put them in pint size jars, but that took up so much room in my china cabinet, and I had to move them all out [...]

I never thought it would work. Honestly, I was so skeptical, I am not even sure what drove me to try. Perhaps simply morbid curiousity. But, try it I did, and I am happy to share with you the results! Besides, what else do you do with those orange peels? I started by putting the [...]

I like that the internet is chock full of recipes. I mean, who doesn’t want 10,000 ways to make chicken? Or finding that wonderful recipe on someone’s blog that you want to try? In the past, I would either print them out, along with the tons of ads with them, or I would try and [...]

I am not fond of all the chemicals that are in today’s cleaning products. I really don’t think that they are at all healthy, nor are they even necessary. But, trying to find what works and what doesn’t work, as well as how to make cleaners for everyday uses has been somewhat of a challenge [...]

Have you ever watched an episode, or season of Hell’s Kitchen? 18 people go through this rigorous challenge each week, a dinner service or two with a head chef that can only be described as the devil himself. Gordon screams, yells, throws things, and has to be bleeped out when [...]

Normally, this time of year, it’s hot. It’s humid. It’s almost unbearable outside. BUT, today, I was given a gift. It’s going to be 77 degrees, with less than 50% humidity. I opened the windows, and I am enjoying a refreshing breeze! Great day to work in the garden and get the laundry caught up [...]

In trying to find some wit and wisdom to share with you this morning, my sweet friend, Angela, actually stepped in and took care of that for me. May you be as encouraged as I was by this! I have a Messy House. If you would make a surprise visit to my home on 7th [...]

<a style=”display: none;” href=”http://www.tomoson.com/?code=TOPcf40231418fb9995bc759a61e0a970fc”><span></span></a> Well, to start with, I applied to review this product, believing the description that it would be from an eco-friendly company since it states: This 100% biodegradeable daily cleaner is safe to use on all kitchen, bath and other marble, granite and tile counter tops… Well, maybe the cleaner is bio [...]

and I know it’s been a while since I wrote a real post. Believe me, I KNOW. I have been super duper busy canning tomatoes, apples, peaches, and potatoes. My pantry is FULL of canned goodness and I am “ready” for winter. Wanna see? We were also recently blessed with a large chest freezer, [...]
